Poets and moustaches and bears, oh my!

Now that Tumblr has decided to get rid of "adult" content, maybe it's time to re-assess the possibilities we have of using the internet for LGBTQ+ content comics. I'd like to take this opportunity to try and shine some light on online comics that have the sort of content that might prove difficult to get them promoted on the new Tumblr and Facebook. One such online series is El Ósculo Hirsuto. This lovely strip about moustachioed poet Funès and his creative and sexual misadventures hails from Argentina and reads like some strange telenovela about the people you never hear about in telenovelas.
The first series ran from 2008 to 2011 and is still available for reading here in Spanish and English.
The second series started in late 2011, went through a four-year hiatus between 2014 and 2018 and resurfaced unexpectedly in April of this year and can be read - in Spanish - on this site. Artist Guibucajaro was already good to start with but he has tremendously improved over the course of this long-term project.

Here is the latest strip to date, number 145, where Funès, who has just won an award for his poetry, is faced with an old acquaintance (ahem, ahem!) while giving his acceptance speech.
